THE REVIEW

What I thought: I loved this one! I think Owen is a great character and Burn G is a bloody brilliant actor. The team up with Andy, another favourite, is also great, a brilliant story as well from the legend that is James Goss, Corpse day is such a great idea. It gets very Jospeh Fritzel pretty quickly and the welsh cannibal with his ‘daughters’ and freaky weevil ‘son’ is so creepy and ‘orrible’, great idea perfected in this story. Both Andy and Owen have some great action sequences in this one and it all concludes very nicely (although the whole weevil eating baby mutant weevil babies is bloody horrible). A great story, very much enjoyed this one.

Rating: 4.8 out of 5 Dead Midwifes: bloody great episode of Torchwood, great work by all involved, a fun, gross and excellent Torchwood adventure.

What I felt: fantastic episode of Torchwood!

What am I left thinking?

  • More Corpse days please!!
  • And more Owen (and Andy team ups)

Memorable bits

  • Weevil doing his orrible thing
  • Cat/Dog wood!
  • Andy’s hand
