Context: This one was waiting in my downloads, I got hooked on the Dalek Universe so I had to wait a week or so after release to get to this, worth the wait though as I am beginning to really like a regular Dark Gallifrey listen….Missy is always awesome as well, and the eclectic style of this series is making for an always entertaining listen.

THE REVIEW

What I thought: this story was even more mental than the last installement, a good thing in my view, and this was a really interesting ending to this trilogy of Missy adventures. I may be wrong but I don’t recall any reference to Dark Gallifrey in this one …how this will tie together with previous and upcoming stories I have no idea….anyway, despite this I enjoyed the crazy Missy antics in this one, with a shock regeneration and another version of Missy, sort of….ties in incredibly well with the Capaldi season 12 Missy arc and I enjoyed this aspect of the story very much. Great performances from all and a lovely ending for some characters…less so for SlyBoots but what a great character!

Rating: 4 out of 5 panopticons: another intriguing entry into the Dark Gallifrey range, always great to be back in Missy’s company. I don’t really understand how this all fits together but it’s bloody great fun and I am simply enjoying the ride!

What I felt: amused and entertained, simple as! Missy is such a brilliant incarnation of the Master, I could listen to her all year long.

What am I left thinking?

• If we will ever see Sly Boots again
• The big thing, what hasDark Gallifrey has got to do with all this!?!?
• What the hell is going to happen to The Queen…what an awesome idea/incarnation of Missy, would love to see her again.
