Context: 5th TW release and another quick Torchwood listen, finished over a couple of days via a couple of walks, great fun to be with Jack for an hour (its ok to say that, right?)

THE REVIEW

What I thought: this was brilliant. I had no idea where the story was going to start with, I almost thought Nestenes would be in this, but then it took a turn and became terribly interesting. The whole notion of this robot taking over the dudes life, and then slowly becoming more important than the original, all done in a very subtle and sinister way. The performances from the cast are great, in fact you think there are more than two people in this one, sound effects and music are great as always. A great listen.

Rating: 4 out 5 Facsimiles – highly recommend this one, great story acted really well by the cast, and a creepy unexplained protagonist in the background, continues to provide a growing sense of some big stuff is going on. I am very much looking forward to finding out what this turns out to be and what turns and twists these adventures contain.

What I felt: very strong Torchwood listen which continues this strong run of the monthly range.

• Jack getting it on…less of that please
• The death of x and then his robot double! Very dramatic.
