Context: I devoured this when it was released, walking the wild coastline of Cornwall during our annual ‘twixmass’ break, great break and a perfect story to accompany my solo walking missions whilst away.

THE REVIEW

What I thought: wow! This is an epic, James Bond-esque adventure that is perfect for the War Doctor. There are so many amazing moments in this one, the timelord firewall being a highlight, timelord spies, Ogorons…it is spread over a massive canvas of space and time, and has a tight and fast moving narrative. Great performances from all and a spectacular continuation of the War Doctor’s story. Brilliant!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Daleks – spectacular, bloody loved this. It was epic, there are great new characters, the massive scope of the story is used so well. Really, really enjoyed this one. Highly recommended.
